Free Resume ATS Checker

Most large employers screen resumes with software before a person reads them. Paste your resume as plain text and see whether it has the sections, dates and details that screening software looks for. Add a job ad to see which of its keywords your resume already covers.

Add it to see which of the job's keywords you're missing.

How it works

Questions

What is an ATS?
An applicant tracking system is software employers use to collect applications and filter them, often by searching resumes for keywords from the job ad.
Why paste text instead of uploading a file?
ATS software reads the text inside your file. Pasting the text shows you exactly what it sees. If text comes out jumbled when you copy it from your file, an ATS may struggle too.
Is a high score a guarantee?
No. The score shows how well your resume is structured and how many of the job's keywords it mentions. Recruiters still read for real experience and results.
